• Buy a quality used car

Eligibility
Anyone who is in receipt of the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS) can apply.

Children from five years old and non-drivers can also apply for cars as passengers, provided they receive the correct allowance.

Extra Financial Help
Motability's charitable fund can help if you are unable to afford: the advance payment on some lease vehicles, in some instances driving lessons and adaptations to the vehicle. Grants are made towards the least expensive option to meet your basic mobility needs.

Special Requirements
If you have more severe disabilities and require a specially adapted vehicle you may qualify for a grant from the Government's Mobility Equipment or Drivers Funds which are administered by Motability.
